At Development Unit Network Products (DNEP) Product Development Unit (PDU) Transport R6000 Nodes we have full Product Life Cycle Management responsibility for the SP and Router 6000 products. The organization consists of several hundred employees covering all disciplines needed for development and maintenance of our products. The organization is based in Beijing, China. We are right now in an exciting time pushing new functionality in our existing product generation and ramping up the development of the next platform generation which will be a key part of Ericsson’s 5G Radio transport solution.

 

Position Overview

                                                                                                                                   

We are looking for Senior HW System Architects in Beijing to further strengthen existing team of system architects. The HW System architect will work closely with multiple groups and teams to develop a high-end and cost effective Router 6000 hardware platforms.

The candidate should have systematic thinking and experience on different HW technical areas. He/she should drive HW Platform development including traffic Switch chip, CPU, 1588&Synchronization solution, PSU, on-board powers, interface modules, mechanical etc. 

The candidate should have strategic thinking about Router 6000 HW evolution: How to meet the 5G network transport requirements from technical and product type perspective

The candidate will communicate with Product Line for market requirement analysis and take early phase study for solutions.

 

Qualifications

You should have/be:

  • A passion for Hardware architecture design
  • Very strong analytical and logical skill
  • A creative and curiosity way of working leading to continuous improvements
  • Strong ability to cooperate with peers
  • Enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills
  • Strong soft skills for negotiation, influencing and decision making.
  • Open minded and willing to accept new challenges.

 

You should have the technical background of:

  • Master of Science Degree from Technical University
  • Highly developed HW design skills.
  • Strong knowledge of complex system architectures
