You need to be service-minded, interested in details, able to work in a dynamic and diverse environment and always keep the customer's interest in mind.

Having the right soft skills is also extremely important since you will have many different partners to cooperate with.

 

As a Packet Core and e2e Solution Architect, you will analyze the customer situation and ambitions, having a deep knowledge of the Ericsson Portfolio or 3PP products and combine these vectors into an end-to-end strategy to address customer needs, with the target to optimize Network Performance and Customer Experience.

Also, you will provide superior services and build outstanding business value for our customers through cost-effective and innovative solutions. The Solution Architect must be equipped to manage constant change and show leadership towards corporate resources as well in the customer teams.

 

 

What we expect:

 

  • Good experience in delivering end-to-end Solutions within mobile broadband and Packet Core Domain
  • Ability to scope, define and craft solution offerings & drive end-to-end technical discussions
  • High Technical competence in Packet Core nodes and MBB (like for example SGSN-MME, SGW/PGW-C/U, AMF, SMF, UPF, DNS, MTAS, SBG, CSCF, BGF, MRF, MGC, MGw, gNB, eNB)
  • Performance Monitoring (Key Performance Indicator/Counters/Gauges) analysis and development skills
  • User-Plane and Signaling-Plane knowledge (Statistical and studies flow based on Wireshark)
  • Good understanding of Cloud, OpenStack, and Virtualization (i.e. Kubernetes, Dockers, KVM)
  • Deep knowledge of 3GPP standards and the capability to carry this knowledge into the solution design and implementation phase
  • Good TCP and TCP Congestion Control Algorithms knowledge (QUIC understanding is a plus)
  • Good understanding of Routing and Switching
  • Deep knowledge in EPC and 5G Core Mobile Networks Architecture, traffic flows, and Network Optimization/Network Design
  • Data Analytics skills (MySQL, Excel, Tableau)
  • Good customer relation skills
  • Consultative approach
  • Innovative and creative spirit and are willingness to take risks
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and to travel 25% of the time

 

Added Value:

 

  • Design Thinking knowledge and Rapid Prototyping experience
  • 5+ years of experience with technology consulting
  • Some experience in system Testing & Troubleshooting
  • Experience in/with a Tier 1/2 Operator Engineering team
  • BS degree from an accredited university
  • Routing and Switching Certifications (Ericsson or Cisco) is a plus

Position is based in Zagreb, global travelling is expected as per business requirements.

 

Croatian citizenship or work permit for Croatia as well as Croatian speaking skills are required.
