Ericsson Nikola Tesla’s ICT Industry and Society team is offering an opportunity to work on challenging projects related to IoT solutions for Industry and Society in the role of Network Engineer (M/F) in Zagreb, Split or Osijek. In this non-telecom segment, Ericsson Nikola Tesla employs more than 150 experts, most of them certified in Oracle technologies. 


We are looking for candidates with the following skillset: 

 

  • Technology
    • You must be proficient and have real-world and hands-on experience with the Linux network stack, monitoring, firewalls, network security protocols, and more
  • Experience
    • Designing and implementing network configurations, network monitoring, troubleshooting performance issues, configuring security systems such as firewalls in a Linux-based production environment
  • Knowledge
    • Solid understanding of switches, routers, firewalls, load balancing, high-availability network infrastructure, routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, UNIX-related network services, TCP/IP networking, DNS, and HTTP(s), network security. 
    • Knowledge of protocols such as MPLS, VPN, RADIUS and LDAP is a plus
  • Mentality
    • You are a team-player who is open to feedback
    • You must be able to communicate in English
