Key Value Database AG is an Application Development Platform (ADP) generic service that any application can utilize to manage data in a key-value database cluster. Using Apache Geode as backend, KVDB AG provides DBaaS capability on top of Kubernetes which enables applications to store, retrieve, update, or delete a record using a key that uniquely identifies the record. 


We are seeking a knowledgeable KVDB AG Service support engineer responsible for managing the resolution of KVDB AG related application and system issues.

You would be a part of technology shift towards 5G and would everyday contribute to making great ideas into reality for people around the world.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Support troubleshooting of customer reported issues both in the lab and in live networks as well as remotely and in the field
  • Support customer acceptance test activities
  • Provide 24/7 emergency support on a roster
  • Register and follow up on bugs and improvements towards development team
  • Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues reported through global Jira support ticketing system
  • Managing coordination at a local and international level where required
  • Delivering regular and customized training to application teams when needed

 

Key Qualifications:

 

  • Curious and positive mindset, team player with high stress tolerance
  • Very good troubleshooting and issue finding skills
  • BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • Proficient in both oral and written English

 

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Java application troubleshooting skills and techniques as a must have
  • Linux knowledge
  • Kubernetes knowledge as an advantage
  • Availability to work outside working hours, nights, and weekends in a periodic roster
