Our Enterprise IT unit is looking for an:

 

ICT Engineer – Linux (M/F)

 

Design, maintenance and administration of information systems/programming solutions based on Linux technology and virtualization technology, work on complex projects, teamwork, user support, project implementations and system documentation.
 
Responsibilities:


•    Organization and execution of Linux deployments (including cloud deployment), maintenance and administration of Linux deployments
•    Writing technical and user documentation of all deployments, maintenance and administration related procedures and processes
•    Network and deployment-related system troubleshooting
•    Linux OS related troubleshooting
•    Second Line Support for user requests

 
Key Qualifications:


•    Education:  An academic degree in IT or technical field
•    Domain experience: Linux and virtualization technologies
 
Required skills:


•    Good knowledge of Linux
•    Basic knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, KVM, Oracle VM)
•    Basic knowledge of scripting language (Shell, Python, Perl)
•    Basic knowledge of networking concepts
•    Basic knowledge of automatization tools (Ansible)
•    Basic knowledge of Web Servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat)
•    Basic Source Code Repository knowledge and experience (SVN, GIT)
 
Preferred skills:


•    Advanced knowledge of scripting language (Shell, Python, Perl)
•    Advanced knowledge of networking concepts
•    Advanced knowledge of automatization tools (Ansible)
•    Basic knowledge of ELK (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana)
•    Basic knowledge of Monitoring tools (Zabbix)
•    Knowledge of High Availabilty (Pacemaker, DRBD, keepalived, Multipathing)
•    Basic knowledge of Linux Dockers and Kubernetes
•    Advanced knowledge of Virtualization (VMware, KVM, Oracle VM)
•    PKI Understanding (work with certificates)
 
Desired skills:


•    Advanced knowledge of Linux Dockers and Kubernetes
 
Additional Requirements:


•    Knowledge of IT operations and development processes
•    Communications and presentation skills
•    Fluent in oral and written English
•    Experience in Solution documentation preparation (Visio, Word)
•    Strong teamwork and knowledge sharing orientation
