5GC Support Engineer

About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced 5GC UDM Support Engineer to provide technical support towards the global SI project.

What you will do

  • Responsible for trouble shooting regarding for the 5GC/UDM network configuration& integration issues, provide workaround and resolution.
  • Connect with global customers to understand the issue and identify the root cause.
  • Perform the configuration and test in lab environment to simulate customer issue.
  • Work as core team for G-ISC (Global Integration Support Center), and support the virtual team members to resolve the issues.
  • Closely work with PDU/Global Support team to clarify product or SW issue.
  • Develop the deep understanding of the products/solutions, be guide on the responsible domain/products.
  • Stay abreast of on new technology/products, keep updating of the knowledge base, and be expertise.
  • Guide and Mentor other team members and provide a technical support.

You will bring

  • Solid knowledge of Ericsson 5GC Solutions and UDM Products (CCSM, CCDM, CCRC, CCPC, CCES), network architecture, interfaces and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of other Ericsson UDM portfolio (HSS, HSS-FE, CUDB, HLR, HLR-FE, EIR)
  • Advanced trouble shooting skill.
  • Customer support experience in Core Network is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Cloud and virtualization technologies - Openstack, NFVI, Redhat, VMWare.
  • Good understanding and troubleshooting skills in IP networking.
  • Strong Communication, Consultative and Inter-personal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: the ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.
  • Be proactive, self-motivated and work independently.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
