Our Exciting Opportunity

As Total Reward SME within Base Pay you support the attraction and retention of the right talent at the right cost by implementing and maintaining base pay management policies, guidelines and processes so they support current and future business needs, are consistent with Ericsson’s desired internal and external market position and support employee engagement across Europe and Latin America.

This role is in the Market Area Europe and Latin America and reports to the Head of Total Rewards in the market area.

 

You will

  • Work with business and People Function and Total Rewards colleagues to successfully align with Ericsson’s base pay management philosophy, policies, processes and systems, so they support the business objectives, current and future business needs and are consistent with Ericsson’s desired internal and external market position and support employee engagement. Salary management includes setting salaries for new hires and promoted employees, managing salary increase in both planned and off-cycle salary situation
  • Lead the annual salary budget setting process taking input and guidance from external and internal stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate the annual salary review process across Europe and Latin America working with Total Reward and People function colleagues to ensure the process is understood and used effectively by managers.
  • Lead the salary benchmarking processes across the Europe and Latin America ensuring relevancy of data in alignment with the Ericsson jobs
  • Analyze and evaluate external and internal market trends, analytics and data to help the People Function and business leaders use base pay management approaches that are aligned with business requirements and enable effective decisions including that of pay equity
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure the HRIS systems are correctly set-up and provide the right level of accuracy and transparency regarding pay data and analytics across the organization
  • Work with the People Analytics SME and other colleagues to ensure the job evaluation and salary benchmarking approaches are supportive of business requirements from a salary management perspective and provides consistency across the organization
  • Manage the relationship with salary data vendors and drive the participation in salary surveys across Europe and Latin America
  • Support other people Function and Total Reward colleagues to utilize salary data effectively
  • Develop and implement innovative training and communication approaches that are aligned with the Ericsson Total Reward communication approach
  • Support local implementation of total rewards processes during heavy execution periods in the Market Area

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Typically, 5-7 years of experience in managing compensation and benefit program design, competitive market analysis, forecasting trends/costs in a geography, preferably with a multiple country or regional/global scope
  • Experience in the design and successful implementation of reward programs and tools
  • Advanced ability to collaborate and work effectively in teams/virtual teams and strong ability to influence, educate, and enable others
  • Strong analytics capabilities and ability to translate data into trends with key insights and recommendations
  • Consultative approach and ability to effectively communicate policies and information, knowing when to escalate questions or issues.
  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy of data, ability to prioritize and follow through on requests
  • Possess and demonstrate exceptional judgment, self-management, impeccable ethics, and a high degree of personal and professional maturity
  • It is beneficial if you have experience of working with Success factors.
