Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for Cloud Integration Engineer, who will be analyzing, preparing, deploying, verifying the configuration and integration of nodes, network and/or systems to setup cloud infrastructure platform for our customers in North America.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for onboarding of the commercially available Ericsson cloud product and open-source product to our customers. Your scope of work would include the scenarios of hardware validations, cloud infrastructure deployment automation, deployment using automation, deployment verification, platform validation, upgrade, expansion, and life cycle management (LCM) activity for lab and production cloud infrastructure.

You will
- Responsible for deploying Ericsson and 3rd party cloud platform and ensure applications (5G Core and others) are on-boarded on the platform
- Validate new hardware components per solution design requirements
- Setup and develop automation to periodically deploy multiple cloud availability zones in a repeatable manner
- Develop continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployments (CD) systems for deploying cloud platform.
- Perform LCM activities on the deployed cloud region/cloud availability zone.
- Help team be successful and work along with Ericsson Off-shore and Product R&D team for any defects / issues encountered
- Research problems and develop solutions for issues discovered by our QE teams.
- Write and implement maintenance plans to minimize customer impact.
- Keep abreast of new technology/technical areas and share information about the solution to enable customer competence build
To be successful in the role you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering.
- 10 years of overall experience working in IT industry
- At least 4+ years working as Integration in the Cloud domain of Private and/or Public Cloud.
- Advanced background with Private Cloud(Openstack) Deployments and Kubernetes
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in Linux, Virtualization, Container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, Networking (CNIs Calico/Multus), Heat templates, Ansible and Helm Charts
- Hands-on experience in Cloud Networking, L2/L3 networking protocols, Calico, MetalLB and Load Balancer concepts
- Exposure to DevOps methodology and related tools is a plus
- Proficient in documenting Test Results and Root-Cause-Analysis
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Juniper and Extreme Switches and Routers
- Good experience working with HTTP(S), TCP/IP, REST API and other Internet protocols
- Expertise in YAML, Linux commands and Shell scripting and python.
- Good understanding of the Cloud Native Security principles and open source tool
- Knowledge of Datacenter Design, Networking and CLOS Topology
- Background working in agile / fast paced environment with exposure to tools like JIRA

- Be active in CNCF, Openstack and other Open Source Communities to find resolution
- Have familiarity and working experience with opensource software / Github projects
- Have familiarity with Go and Python programming
