Technical Customer Project Manager & Release Train Engineer

About this opportunity
We are now looking for a Customer Project Manager (CPM)/Release Train Engineer (RTE), to lead customer projects with industry-leading tools and methodologies to ensure that the project goals are met with the highest standard of customer care. The CPM leads all aspects of governance and strategy as you work to deliver solutions using Ericsson and 3rd party tools and services. This role may also serve as the RTE in large transformation programs leading program-level agile/SAFe processes and execution. The primary focus is to understand customers’ needs and provide superior services by creating outstanding business value for our customers through cost-effective and innovative solutions. This role reports to the Orchestration & Analytics PMO Director.
What you will do
- Introduce new technology and capabilities to a wide range of customers
- Build fun and effective work environments including tools and teams to deliver continuous improvements and profitability
- Establish the project plan baseline: define project scope, secure resources, lans and supervise all activities
- Drive project execution: track project activities, supervise and handle changes, conflicts, and critical issues
- Manage customers and partners: foster good customer relationships build confidence and trust
- Oversee project financial and quality metrics
- Develop the business: participate in contract preparation and pre-sales activities
- Coach team members and leaders on Agile/SAFe delivery methodology
- Develop the CPM and RTE practice: simplify processes, methods, tools, standard methodologies, and playbook with creative ideas
You will bring
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Project Management Professional certification
- Agile certifications
- 7 + years of solid experience in delivering consultative end-to-end software technology solutions within the telecommunication and/or IT industry
- Demonstrated financial, business, consulting, and industry savvy
- Demonstrated collaborative influencing and leadership skills
- At least one (1) year of experience as Release Train Engineer and/or Scrum Master in an Agile/SAFe delivery environment
You might also have
- SAFe Agilist certification
- Experience using automation and software management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Experience in pre-sales support, proposal, and contract management
- Experience in Operational Support Systems (OSS) including Orchestration, Analytics, Assurance, and Fulfillment
