SMA Process Engineer (HW Make Support Job stage 5)

Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Surface Mounted Assembly (SMA) Process Engineer to develop, implement and maintain cost efficient, ergonomic and safe production, claims and repair processes, equipment and tools according to production rules (HW MAKE SUPPORT).

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage production performance as collecting data, analyzing, checking, modifying and implementing/updating production processes, methods and tools
  • Propose product improvements to design in pre-development and projects
  • Develop product requirements and design rules from a supply perspective
  • Build practice and produce ability
  • Develop and innovate PCBA processes
  • Maintain and prepare existing PCBA processes
  • Analyze and improve PCBA production processes
  • Conduct flow optimizations
  • Secure business continuity plans and sustainability
  • Manage production equipment

Key Qualifications: 

  • Education: at least professional higher education in one of the following areas (Engineering, Production, Technology, Science).
  • Min years of experience: at least 1 year in one the following areas (Electronics Engineering, PCBA Production, SMT Technology, Material Science).
  • Domain experience: IPC standards, Six Sigma, RCA, SMT soldering, SMT component placement, AOI, SPI, X-ray, SMA rework, in-circuit testing, functional testing.
  • Supply Chain & Supply Process Knowledge.

Additional Requirements:

  • English (at least B2)
  • Computer skills (CompTIA A+ or similar), 
  • Excel (Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate or similar)
