Our Exciting Opportunity:  

We are now looking for a Manager of Digital Product Engineering to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost for product development. As a Development Leader you will teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations. You will foster a creative and learning culture.

 

You will:  

  • Support Product Engineers to reach main targets of product performance, quality, repair and troubleshooting, claims, volume production, NPI, TPI and GPI
  • Be actively involved in yield and product reliability improvements
  • Actively establish relevant interfaces needed for business execution/development and deploy necessary and vital interfaces towards eg. R&D, Test development.
  • Create a coherent organizational culture to motivate employees.
  • Establish good crossfunctional communication with stakeholders
  • Create routine to monitor department KPIs and continuous actions to improve KPIs.
  • Explain and reflect company strategy to engineering level.
  • Manage Team resource and competence dev. according to business requirements.
  • Find improvements and cost saving areas for engineers.
  • Manage processes that are owned by Product Engineering Team

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Strong leadership skills in order to manage cross functional processes and telecommunication related skills.
  • Coaching & Mentoring Skills
  • Engineering mindset, technical understanding of electronic products specification and documentation
  • Good knowledge and experience in people management.
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Good knowledge of Ericsson Products and processes.
  • Fluent English in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
