We develop 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA Network solutions for operators all over the world.


Radio Products Sweden 1 is part of the Product Development Unit (PDU) Radio, within Development Unit Networks. We work with the newest technology within telecommunication development. The work offers a rich number of opportunities in an everyday learning, creative and exciting atmosphere! Kista, Stockholm, is our base but the world is our arena.


We are looking for a Radio Software OPO (Operative Product Owner) to be part of our leadership team in SE1 to lead a software team with responsibility for software in new radio platforms.


What you will do

  • Be a part of the global Radio SW OPO function which is the owner of Radio SW Backlog.
  • Be responsible to make sure that the backlog for your team is always up to date and prioritized.
  • Cooperate with Strategic Product Management, HW design, and Project Management and SW teams and OPOs globally on different sites.
  • Describe the value to be delivered to the team and work together to refine the backlog into actionable stories with a clear definition of what should be done.
  • Be expected to step forward, taking responsibility and actively driving solutions to issues as well as taking part in all aspects of the OPO role.


You will bring

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years demonstrated ability in product development with a good understanding of systemization, design and verification.
  • Willingness to communicate, share information and help others.
  • Leadership skills in line with Ericsson's core values.
  • Good understanding of Lean and Agile ways of working.
  • A genuine interest in people and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries.
  • A large degree of flexibility and willingness to tackle different tasks.
  • Business focus with high accountability to deliver results.
