Network and Product Evolution department is recruiting a manager for one of the strategic areas to secure current and future radio product development. With us, you’ll be part of the next step in our development of radio products, responsible for a team of experienced people and member of the Network and Products Evolution department leadership team.

About this opportunity

This section is responsible for crafting a vision on how our radio products going to look like in future. Team is diverse and have a number of different expertize areas that are needed for creation of ground-breaking vision for our radio HW. This team possesses an expertize in a number different subject crucial this vision like LPP(Long Term Product Plan), Security, EMC, Frequency database, Energy efficiency, PIM (Passive Intermodulation) and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). You will lead this team and help them to model our future radio vision.

What you will do

• Manage overall collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as product managers, early phase programs, SPM (Strategic Product Management), Standardisation and Research.
• Drive overall team capability to ensure effective delivery of our dedication in different areas as well as a common vision.
• Proactively support the team and individuals by driving resolution of all relevant and blocking issues, helping to remove impediments
• Secure and maintain communication both within matrix organization, including reporting progress, status and follow-up of activities and results
• Drive Operational Excellence, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and application of standard methodologies that support company’s values)

You will bring

• Education: Master degree in Computer science / Engineering or a related technical field.
• Required background in product development, preferably in telecom or other high technology industry
• Minimum 5-8 years as senior project manager /program manager/ design manager for radio product development
• Communication skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team
• Providing technical project leadership to the teams, drive closure of technical issues
• Motivating and guiding highly technical engineers & developers removing roadblocks to ensure they can deliver
• Ability to see big picture with focus on important details in pragmatic and creative way
• Self-motivated, with positive demeanor and strive to solve problems and expand knowledge
• Grow with accountability, overcoming challenges with a can-do demeanor
