As a dynamic, results oriented senior leader, looking for a fulfilling opportunity to lead high impacting programs within Service Area (SA) Cloud & Applications (C&A), your role will entail leading a team of senior project managers to successful outcomes on various projects and programs within the Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO plays an important role in the overall C&A strategy execution using proven methodologies and is an integral part in influencing the organization's overall performance.

As the senior leader of the team, you are responsible in coordinating and reporting on transformation and strategy execution initiatives from across the organization; providing leadership; identifying dependencies and strategic opportunities to support in decision-making; and to deliver successfully on the various program initiatives. This role is key in having a total e2e view on all projects running within the organization, ensuring dependencies and alignments are known and in place to secure successful deliveries of our major programs’ initiatives.

You will

  • Grow the overall performance of the PMO working with program managers and staff responsible for providing project management and other services to support implementation of C&A projects
  • Work with executives and staff across Ericsson to build collaborative relationships while providing strategic direction to support the implementation and execution of C&A programs
  • Establish and control the total C&A portfolio program performance and dependencies, visible through a portfolio program dashboard
  • Establish effective governance to secure accurate project reporting, progress and support across the whole project portfolio
  • Coordinate risk management and actions to minimize and eliminate the identified risks across the project portfolio
  • Establish processes for the project team to follow, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness without over complicating things, focusing on simplicity while securing high performance
  • Promote a “one team” atmosphere within the program/project teams across the C&A organization

To be successful in the role you must have

  • A relevant university degree: Minimum Bachelor in engineering or equivalent
  • Min 6-8 years of proven track record as a senior project leader coordinating complex projects
  • Abilities to comfortably work on various levels, from executive to details, provide conceptual and analytical ideas to see the big picture and articulate the total program portfolio view
  • Skills as a strategic change leader that can further an inclusive and collaborative workplace where innovation is valued and team members encouraged to be at their best
  • Abilities to find creative ways to tackle problems and as well encourage other team members to always find creative solutions to any problem
  • A good ability to adapt your leadership style depending on the situation, and on the interfaces and relationships you work with
  • Ability and self motivated in handling complex relationships with multiple teams and partners
  • Skills in coaching and influencing senior level decision makers. As well as a shown political acuity to handle people who have opposing interests
  • Ability to cultivate a collaborative and diverse work environment that promotes and facilitates clarity, flexibility and accountability
  • Capability to inspire change and obtain collaborative agreements from different partners, colleagues and staff
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written

Additional Requirements

  • Project management skills acquired through training, project management experience or other experience of using project management methods
  • Experiences related to project management methodologies, techniques and tools
  • High knowledge in IT, data center, R&D, Tele-communication and/or similar related projects' delivery
  • Experience working with multi-national global decentralized organizations with the ability to establish good working climate in a virtual environment
  • Experience/knowledge in EBP IT Process, ITIL
  • PMP Certification, ITIL Foundation Certification and/or Master’s degree are an asset!
