The Executive Remuneration Total Rewards Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a role within the Group Function People, Total Rewards, Executive Remuneration Team reporting to the Head of Executive Remuneration. Driven by the requirement to support fulfillment of current and future business needs through executive remuneration, the main objective of the role is to contribute to the design, delivery and communication of activities in relation to executive remuneration to ensure consistency with the desired market position and to drive employee engagement whilst guaranteeing compliance.
 

The successful candidate will also act as a People Business Partner, especially for the members of the Executive Team, to ensure flawless end to end delivery of overall executive remuneration programs, global oversight of executive contracts and fulfillment of compliance requirements!
 

You will

  • Support in the delivery of overall executive remuneration programs for Ericsson (including global base salary and benefits policies, short and long-term variable compensation programs and related target setting, along with special individual specific total reward packages for executives etc.)
  • Act as People Business Partner for the executives in supporting and resolving the queries both from the executives themselves and from other units within Ericsson
  • Work with Heads of People in the units to ensure executive recruitments including employment contracts are handled in line with global guidelines and requirements
  • Support executive remuneration policy review and improvement (including analyzing and interpreting compensation data, preparing analytics, modelling and scenario testing, following up on recent governance and compliance requirements)
  • Support execution of processes (including as required, position evaluation, benchmarking of compensation, preparation of budget information, annual salary review, performance measure updates for variable compensations etc.)
  • Work with external vendors to ensure up to date relevant market data is used for benchmark and policy setting purposes
  • Support in preparation of Remuneration Committee material (including Guidelines for Remuneration to Group Management, proxy information for the Board of Directors, shareholder consultations and annual general meetings of shareholders etc.)
  • Prepare external analytics and communications (including preparation of data tables for Group Management and drafting of Remuneration Report in the Annual Report, as well as preparation of shareholder and media engagement materials etc.)
  • Support with external and internal compliance e.g. audits and governance guidelines and act as focal point for queries
  • Prepare internal communication material and participate in additional ad-hoc project work within the Global Total Rewards organization
     

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, human resources management or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Human Resources; in total rewards and/or as People/HR Business Partner
  • Understanding of total rewards and/or executive remuneration
  • Excellent communication, and collaboration skills. Thrives in a diverse environment with multiple valid perspectives. Effective co-operation with colleagues, as the role requires high interaction with partners in different functions and achieving of results through others
  • Highly numerate, financially literate and affinity with data. Analytical, diagnostic, investigation, and research skills. Accuracy and close attention to details
  • Problem solving and breadth of thinking along with an inquisitive demeanor
  • Advocacy and inquiry – abilities to ask quality questions and think broadly
  • Handling highly critical and individual information reliably
  • Resilient under pressure to deliver in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
