About this opportunity

Data is a key theme for Group Supply to become data driven. We in Digital Acceleration are on a mission to accelerate digital transformation to strengthen the resilience of the Ericsson Supply Chain. Our focus is to build up outstanding competence in data used by Supply organization, democratize and build the digital capabilities that will help us to automate our business processes, provide intelligent decision support through AI/ML, and make data more easily accessible for exploration and analysis. The Digital Acceleration is a truly global team with team members spread across the world helping Group Supply in the next phase of the digitalization journey.

 

What you will do

  • You will be responsible for translating data strategy and vision into execution plan/roadmap for modernizing Supply data foundation to enable descriptive analytics, prescriptive and predictive analytics.
  • Manage roadmap its dependencies to deliver Supply data foundation across different workstreams to enable value creation to enable digital transformation roadmap.
  • Work closely with data analysts and data management experts to establish the to-be state of data foundation and required data products to support transformational use cases.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that proper design, and architecture are in place to build the Supply data platform supported by the Supply lead data engineer.
  • Assign data engineers to relevant use cases ensuring execution is aligned with the data foundation roadmap and to-be state.
  • Establish relevant data governance processes as part of data management activities
  • Drive the development of data platform capabilities by identifying dependencies and new requirements and driving that towards Group IT.
  • Manage PoC and mini-projects when required to test new functionality.
  • Be responsible for setting a budget together for data foundation activities.

 

You will bring experience from:

  • Managing data platform projects
  • Leading data engineering team
  • Establishing and designing data platform/lakehouse platform/data warehouse
  • Experienced with data governance activities in data platform
