Compass Solution Architect

Our Exciting Opportunity: 

As part of our digitalization journey in NPI & Production, we have implemented Compass Apriso as the core MES solution for our shop floor operations across our Ericsson Supply Sites. We are now looking for a Solution Architect with focus on Compass Apriso, to lead the shaping of the architecture and functionality development of Compass.

As Solution Architect for Compass Apriso, you will be part of the MES Compass program, and work as an integrated function of the Compass development team with colleagues both from Ericsson and external vendors (Dassault etc). Besides working in the MES Compass program, you will interact also required with other Solution/Domain Architects within Manufacturing, to determine what business needs shall be developed inside Compass Apriso, and what shall be driven stand alone.

 

You Will:

  • Work to analyze and translate the business demands and requirements into technical descriptions ready for development, i.e. create Detailed Design Description (DDD).
  • Ensure development is following architecture guidelines and design rules
  • Interact with Ericsson internal Domain/Solution Architects to determine which functionality shall be developed within Compass and what shall be developed using other systems/microservices that supports our overall Target Architecture
  • Interact with Ericsson internal Domain/Solution Architects and Product Owners to outline how applications shall be integrated with Compass Apriso (when needed)
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmap/blueprint for Compass Apriso

 

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or combination of equivalent experience and education
  • Minimum 5+ years’ software engineering/enterprise architecture, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions
  • Preferably knowledge about Delmia Apriso or other MES tools
  • Relevant understanding and experience in manufacturing area is a strong plus
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate the relationship between business demands and technology strategy
  • Cross-functional understanding with a deep knowledge of how the global organization works and interact between different functions/units
