Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a Test Product Guardian for Baseband Module CI to drive that we have an outstanding Baseband test product to secure the quality of our world-class Baseband product.

 

PDU Baseband Production Sector has end-to-end competence and responsibility for Baseband Module Continuous Integration (CI). Our mission is to provide a fast delivery CI service to baseband developers to ensure fast and accurate quality feedback. In our CI we are performing extensive tests in several steps to ensure fast feedback to thousands of developers and outstanding quality to our customers.

 

The Test Effectiveness team with Test managers and Test Product guardians is responsible for defining the Baseband CI test scope and securing the quality of the tests. We have close collaboration across several sites.

 

In the coming years, we will have an exciting journey growing the Digital testing and using AI/ML to support the strategic direction of Ericsson RAN development.

 

You will

  • Be a guardian for the test cases in our 5G BB Module CI product
  • Define test automation rules and guidelines to improve product quality, flow, and cost-efficiency
  • Be a test development mentor for XFTs and support with test case expertise
  • Actively monitor the effectiveness of test cases and propose improvements to ensure that we guard the quality with increased execution speed and reliability
  • Implementation of test code improvements and new 5G BB CI functionality
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Collaborate cross programs with development teams, testers, and guardians to pursue slips and flow stoppers and to continuously improve our processes

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • A Master of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Wireless Communication, Applied Physics or equivalent
  • Strong Java programming skills and interest
  • Deep knowledge of MJE
  • Proven experience in working with test and continuous integration
  • Experience in configuration and handling of STPs
  • A forward-thinking, hardworking, and creative personality. You are an outstanding teammate who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and adopts the challenge
  • Excellent technical communication skills and collaboration skills
  • Business and leadership awareness
  • Love for multicultural environment and appetite for innovative technology
  • Expertise in LTE or 5G technologies
