About this opportunity

We are in changing times where industries merge, new business models emerge, and network and system architectures are reshaped! New technologies come in to play as well as deployment of existing ones. We need to keep up with the technology evolution and take advantage and use them to Ericsson´s best. Are you the one to lead this?

The need to set a joint architectural direction for the industry and synchronize the commonalities across our portfolio is more important than ever. The architecture is becoming more horizontal, and many new parts will not be driven by standardization.

This requires close collaboration with managers, architects, and study leaders at Ericsson Group Function Technology but also with Ericsson Research, Market Areas, the Business Areas and their subunits in R&D-, and Business dimensions.

The Architecture evolution director shall ensure that Ericsson defines and describes our view for that and engage with internal and external stakeholders to get an aligned industry view.

  • Work across Ericsson not only to define these architectures but also to facilitate that they are described in relevant ways for different stakeholders
  • Actively engage in the work with Network Architecture Evolution Strategies and evolving The Ericsson Architecture
  • Make sure a set of relevant customer presentations on architecture evolution are updated

You will bring
