Support Engineer - Cloud DevOps

About this opportunity

We are now looking for Support Engineers of Cloud that will provide technical service and support of Cloud Product (i.e. Cloud Execution Environment, Cloud Container Distribution and SDN) for our key customers or Tier1 engineers during deployment and/or after cutover for commercial use. At the same time, you will work in R&D team and have chance to learn the latest technology of Cloud.

What you will do

  • Work in R&D, support local engineer to deploy Ericsson Cloud products, CEE (Cloud Execution Environment), CCD (Cloud Container Distribution), or SDN (Software Defined Network) for our customers.
  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
  • Perform trouble shooting and customer support, i.e., handling JIRA tickets, CSR and Emerhency case.
  • Contribute continuous improvements of products and processes.
  • Develop competence in technical domain.

You will bring

  • Good Linux, scripting, OpenStack or Kubernetes experience
  • Good understanding of VNF (Virtualized Network Functions), virtualization (e.g., KVM, QEMU, Libvirt) and cloud technologies (e.g., OpenStack, Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Good understanding of IP networking concepts and packet analysis (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wireshark)
  • Experience of CEE (Cloud Execution Environment), CCD (Cloud Container Distribution), SDN, Edge Compute Python, C/C+
  • Experience of DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Gerrit, Jenkins), configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Ansible)
  • Strong soft skill, e.g. good teamwork, market insight and negotiation skills
  • Passion in new technology
