Our Exciting Opportunity

We are looking for a Principal Developer working in the PDU UDM, Policy & Exposure as a SW Architect role to cover the following key aspects: Define and execute the strategy for the SW Architecture of CCES Products including possible synergies of products and components within the organization and outside. Lead the evolution of 5G SW Architecture development in the domains of Exposure CCES to comply with demands in functional and non-functional requirements including automation and speed of development. Lead the internal SW architect community while maintaining an active role with other organizations, customers and with the SW Architect industry.

You will

  • Secure a consistent, efficient, and future-proof Software Architecture for the CCES product
  • Secure the SW deliverables from the CCES product, with quality and aligned in content, according to the 5G UDM and Policy end-to-end portfolio needs
  • Define and maintain the WoW in the 5G SW Development area(design rule, code review, security check, static check, User Story DoD, etc), and adjust it when needed
  • Provide input to ADP Design Rules and Guidelines
  • Stay up to date on the industry trends in SW architecture in the Cloud Native area and drive relevant technology proof of concepts
  • Promote the software craftsmanship and tools to achieve high performing, reliable stability, high quality, high development efficiency of the CCES
  • Participate and actively contribute in Fora related to software craftmanship, both internally and outside Ericsson
  • Drive CI/CD framework design, implementation in line with PDU and BDGS CI/CD Vision

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Expertise on SW architecture technologies, development and infrastructure (virtualization, cloud native, micro services, Kubernetes, security, and so on)
  • Good knowledge on Telco network (e.g. 3GPP 4G and 5G)
  • Strong Technical Leadership & communication skills including technical presentation
  • Curiosity and high motivation, willing to explore and learn new technologies
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes, ability to work under pressure, and manage uncertainty
  • Fluency in English, with sound communication skills
