PDU Converged Core (PDU CC) is part of Solution Area Communication Services in Business Area Digital Services. The key offering under PDU CC is IMS which is an integral part of VoLTE and also the base for 5G Voice. Currently, we are evolving our IMS portfolio into cloud-native. The PDU has around 1000 employees globally and an additional 300 staff at suppliers. Apart from being a market leader in IMS, the PDU is also developing new offerings related to Enterprise, Entitlement, and Device security in collaboration with partners such as Apple, Samsung, and Google. Solution Test & Support is an exciting place to be with international teams spread on different continents. In the test, we verify various solutions in various aspects in the IMS, VoNR & VoLTE space. E.g. VoLTE/VoNR E2E FT, UE IODT, E2E Service Performance, IMS characteristics, IMS O&M. In support, we ensure smooth deployments of our solutions as well as the support of them. With the outstanding collection of tests and support responsibilities, we can take a leading role in our PDU for a strong holistic solution view, enabling the success of our product and solutions. We are now looking for an experienced Customer Engagement Manager within PDU CC Solution Test & Support CBC.

 

You will

  • Secure a smooth delivery and operation of our products and solutions as the leader and main interface in-between our PDU and our key Customer units
  • Work in close collaboration with all teams in development units, and with Technology & Evolution to build in quality in the products and to build and maintain a strong and influential network towards the SA COS Solution Line and Services organizations to secure synchronized product deployment and service delivery activities.
  • Lead and manage (plan/track/report/risk/conclude) projects/taskforce proactively, ensure “quality of deliverables” are meet relevant partner’s expectations
  • Initiate and drive new insights or team improvements, innovation, and influence the solution and product improvement scope, providing knowledge about important metrics and customer feedback.
  • Share experiences from escalations, drive knowledge sharing, and learning from the deployment.
  • Contribute to the shift towards Cloud Native IMS solutions where proficiencies, ways of working and much more will be challenged and different.

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Experience as relevant to deployment and customer interaction and manage a team of testing on E2E level with a customer and telecom eco-system focus. Stong collaborative track record in sophisticated environments is very important.
  • Business and customer focused with a strong result orientation.
  • A technical understanding of the IMS solution.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in R&D, including lean and agile principles and practices.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational borders and in a multinational environment.
  • Good English language skills in both writing and conversation.
  • Technical education on the university level required, interested in technical solutions, and make them work together with your team, hands-on teamwork is part of the expectation on the role.
