Ericsson One, an internal venture studio that brings ground-breaking ideas and new products to market is now looking for a Senior Graphics Engineer, Digital Humans to help build the 3D future of human connection.

Project Spectre has recently been awarded Ericsson’s 2020 Top Performance Award for Innovation and is now coming out of stealth. Spectre plans to use Ericsson’s worldwide scale to launch a ground-breaking product that sits at the intersection of deep learning, computer vision, computer graphics and XR (VR/AR).

You will

  • Bring your graphics and rendering expertise to the design and build of AI-driven, AAA graphics pipelines 
  • Implement and extend state-of-the-art graphics and rendering algorithms, collaborating with world-class AI researchers to meet complex project requirements 
  • Define new primitives to improve the photorealism of our digital doubles, and work closely with applied research to make everything differentiable 


To be successful in the role you must have

  • Experience designing and building graphics pipelines (ideally with character or animation components), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship AAA titles powered your contributions 
  • Extensive experience with Unity & Unreal 
  • Strong math skills with an emphasis in 3D math 
  • Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages 
  • Thorough understanding of current GPU architecture (e.g. AMD GCN, NVIDIA CUDA) 
  • Experience with modern graphics APIs (e.g. OpenGL, DirectX) 
  • Experience with HLSL/GLSL or other equivalent shader languages 
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
