About this opportunity
You will be part of a research team at Ericsson Antenna Technology Germany GmbH. We are looking for technologies and innovations of base station antennas for mobile networks of tomorrow. One component of this is the simulation of high-frequency devices and its behaviour regarding stress in solid state and heat. For this, we want to build a profound knowledge about thermal behaviour of high-frequency devices and improve thermal simulation.
You’ll get the opportunity to

Thermal simulation of high-frequency test devices with appropriate simulation software
-
Temperature measurements of test devices at high frequency power exposure
-
Result analysis, comparison between simulation and experiment with subsequent optimization
Key skills
-
To apply for this role you should be studying a degree in the following subjects: electro technical engineer, material science, physics or similar studies

Experience in laboratory is a plus
-
Experience in thermal simulation is an advantage

Good understanding of material science
-
Strong analytical and comprehension skills

Ability to use simulation software, programming skills would be a plus
-
Good command of English
-
Fresh and creative attitude, problem solving skills and optimistic appoach to challenges
