We are now looking for a committed Supply & Technology Manager in Rosenheim, Germany. In this role you will act as a member of the design base core team regarding all supply topics during early platform development projects. You will define supply requirement specifications within the project and create supply strategies while taking strategic & long-term product roadmaps as well as all supply related requirements into consideration. 
This position reports to the Head of Supply Product Management EAS and is actively encouraging a close collaboration with partners from Product Management, R&D and related Supply functions in an x-functional international environment.

 

What you will do 

  • Manage the platform development projects in supply and act as core team member within the design base development project
  • Arrange Workshops and define tasks within supply & sourcing to determine supply requirements for the design base to meet strategic product targets
  • Develop an e2e supply strategy as well as outline the supply network for the targeted market areas
  • Define targets for supply and sourcing and internal value chain to meet market requirements
  • Analyse supply cost for platform TK & total cost targets
  • Identification of critical items (critical supplier, long lead time, manufacturing requirement)
  • Initiate supply and sourcing projects such as impact analysis and implementation of new technologies
  • Manage different stakeholders and project owners e2e throughout the design base development process 
  • Take ownership and responsibility for the success story of design bases
  • Regular report the progress to the Head of Operations and the operational leadership team


You will bring 

  • Completed technical and / or business studies, preferably with an emphasis on SCM and manufacturing, or an equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in an international supply chain, procurement and / or production environment with a substantial understanding of related e2e processes
  • Proven project management competence with project, process and quality management knowledge
  • Design to cost and design to manufacturing knowledge and experience
  • A proactive and analytical approach, with the ability to think strategically, execute effectively and drive sustainable improvements 
  • Strong target orientation with a customer centric and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for collaboration and teamwork in a global environment
  • Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken
