About this exciting opportunity
Ericsson Antenna System (EAS) is providing a complete range of high-quality Antenna and Antenna Line Devices and is an integral part of Ericsson Radio Systems.
We are now looking for a committed, motivated and capable test engineer to perform component tests with our developed antenna components to verify their performance. Your role will include all test activities such as: mechanical, environmental, and electrical tests on active and passive antenna components, documentation and reporting, calibration and continuous improvement of test devices, processes, and technology.
Our focus is on lean and agile ways of working. We organize in multi-functional development teams where diversity, knowledge sharing and collaboration create true innovation.
What you will do:
- Lead test series for engineering and product validation of antenna components
- Communication and reporting to stakeholders and management
- Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
- Develop and test high quality products
- Trouble shooting and customer support
- Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
- Develop competence in technical domain
You will bring:
- A Bachelor or Master´s degree in the field of electrical, mechatronics or telecommunications engineering or an equivalent qualification, ideally with RF background
- 3+ years of experience in electrical products testing, RF testing and / or environmental testing are particularly advantageous
- Sound knowledge and experience in metrology and complex test setups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation and structured way of working
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for teamwork and collaboration
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
