IT Support Specialist

About this opportunity
We are now looking for IT Support Specialists for our offices in Rome, Milan, Genoa, Pagani. You will plan and operate the software and hardware solutions for the internal Ericsson users. Ensure a stable environment and optimize the solutions/services to the agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner!
Additional services required by the customer are handled on a case by case basis.
What you will do
- Provide and maintain Ericsson hardware, software and network solutions for the Ericsson users.
- Support employees requests (ticketing system and / or direct and indirect onsite and remote support) regarding IT topics.
- Client installation and configuration
- Mobile devices provision, configuration and End User Support
- Maintain local IT Asset management for (Network Equipment, Computers, Mobile Devices)
- Solve activities and technical support. Providing trainings and developing manuals & user guidelines.
- Ensure stable IT environment following Ericsson IT Strategy and IT Security principles.
- Actively participate and complete global and local IT Projects.
- Provide hands and eyes support for remote specialized IT teams.
- Optimize solutions, processes, and ways of working, providing innovative technology approaches.
- Participating in different multi-functional teams, contributing to continuous improvements in the organization.
- Support the employee experience improving process.
- Manage local IT costs, providing basic finance reports and inputs for forecasts, tracking invoices, spends, and trends.
- Perform cost efficient and timely manner IT activities.
- Act as an IT Ambassador.
You will bring
- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or other relevant fields or confirmed work experience
- Minimum years of experience: 3
- Previous exposure to IT ticketing systems
- IT Processes & tools, infrastructure knowledge, O365 package
- ITIL process certification or understanding
- Client (Win 10), Mobile (Android, IoS)
- ICT Infrastructure (HW, SW, IT Network, Video conferencing systems)
- Systems Administration
- Proficiency in Italian and English languages

- Ability to work on shifts
- Basic project management skills
- Solid service and business development skills
- Ability to translate technical issues into business risks
- Ability to work under stress and be able to prioritize work accordingly to meet team objectives without or with support when needed
- Good interpersonal communication skills sustaining the ability to connect with both technical and non-technical people, either having or willing to develop a consulting approach
- Customer oriented with a passion of following-up customer issues to their full and satisfactory resolution
- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to handle both technical and related administrative tasks
- Microsoft Office savvy with ability to create reports from data in various IT systems
- Analytical skills
