Patent Attorney

About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Patent Professional to develop effective intellectual property assets for Ericsson’s innovations and technologies. This includes identifying patentable inventions, assessing business, technical and legal merits and obtaining patent protection in various jurisdictions in accordance with Ericsson's overall strategy. The role includes evaluating invention disclosures, drafting and prosecuting patent applications and handling portfolios of patents. The role also includes assisting with licensing packages and assertion of patents, to provide business benefit to Ericsson. You will collaborate with inventors and technical experts, a range of specialists globally across the patent department, and external law firms.

What you will do

• Maintain a Patent Docket
• Participate in Portfolio Management & Claim Charting
• Draft and prosecute patent applications
• Participate in oppositions and invalidations
• Support assertion of Patents
• Support Licensing & Litigation

You will bring

• Patent Process Knowledge
• Local Laws & Regulations Knowledge
• Experience with telecommunications, electronics or computer implemented types of inventions
• Communications Skills
