Our Exciting Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for working on both 5GCORE (PCC, PCG etc) and vEPC (SGSN-MME, Evolved Packet Gateway, Network Integrated Wi-Fi, Service-Aware Policy Controller, Wi-Fi Mobility Gateway) across the Telco Cloud (and often wider Telco Core & Cloud Portfolio).

You will manage the onboarding, integration, troubleshooting and testing of Packet Core VNFs and CNFs into a customer NFVi environment.

While this is undoubtedly a highly technical role, the position requires that you will have the soft skills required to influence the customer, and virtual teams including the ability to demonstrate behaviours relating to leadership, self-awareness, self-regulation, communication skills, empathy, and motivation.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • HW installs, expansions or reconfigurations
  • SW installation and upgrades
  • Configuration preparation based on LLD
  • Integration, Migration, Integration testing
  • E2E Troubleshooting
  • MOP preparation
  • Input/review of services costing and Progress Reporting

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Deep knowledge and experience in implementation and troubleshooting of EPC VNFs and E2E.
  • Extensive experience and expertise of onboarding and troubleshooting Telco VNFs onto an Openstack environment
  • Good practical knowledge of Linux
  • Extensive Telco Industry understanding and experience
  • Experience working with Containerised functions and Kubernetes

 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT or equivalent.
  • Relevant (minimum 5 years) experience in delivery.
