Location: Hybrid working from our Reading or Coventry office (minimum 2 days a week in office)

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About this opportunity

Working as part of the existing Service Reliability team covering performance and optimisation you will lead delivery for a specific Managed Service contract ensuring required network performance is achieved.  These are customer-facing roles and are a key interface towards the Ericsson Service Delivery Units (local and offshore) to secure the Operational Performance. 


 You’ll get the opportunity to 

  • Ensure issues relating to “in-life” performance are addressed
  • Demonstrate the value of Ericsson in the end-to-end service chain
  • Work closely with the broader Service Ops Team to ensure that actions undertaken as part of the delivery do not negatively impact with wider MS Scope and that any improvement initiatives are shared across the other domains
  • Ensure we achieve the Network Performance levels required
  • Track performance of anything which can influence and impact the delivery
  • Drive and own actions needed to improve delivery performance
  • Maintain and develop effective business relationships with key customers and stakeholders (internal and external) ensuring clear processes are in place to manage relevant activities in line with business and customer risks and benefits.
  • Support / lead monthly performance and operational reviews with the customer and key internal stakeholders.
  • Support requirement definition and business impact of new service requests received from the customer.


Key skills required 

  • A passion to pursue a career in telecommunications and network performance
  • Degree: A BSc based degree or HNC/HND within Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Keen to utilise their strong interpersonal skills and confidence in working with others to build solid relationships with customers and colleagues alike (via telephone and face to face)
  • A proven passion to forge a career within technology and communications in a technical role
  • Lives within an easy commute of Reading or Coventry offices, or happy to relocate (relocation costs will not be covered for this role)
