Performance Improvement Manager

Ericsson Supply Americas Organization (Plano, TX) is looking for an experienced Performance Manager. You will be working with the Strategy & Digital acceleration team to support the governance of key performance metrics for Supply Americas and in the execution of our Strategy.


Our Exciting Opportunity:

  • Work with performance Drivers and owners to establish specs and drive governance framework to lead all aspects of our performance targets
  • Be able to work with an Agile mindset and coach team members and business in Lean and Agile ways of working
  • Lead the design and implementation of improvement initiatives or events for processes that have a cross-functional impact to eliminate waste, reduce cycle time, and improve business performance while establishing a balanced model for continuous improvement
  • Support strategic projects and Kaizen events in alignment with Supply Americas strategic deployment plan


In this role you will: 

  • Coach colleagues on standard work and adoption of Lean and Six Sigma principles and behaviors.
  • Using robust change leadership skills, the incumbent will communicate across the organization to ensure key partners are aware and supportive of changes and their benefits, at all levels of the organization and locations as required
  • Be working within and facilitating agile development processes, including both sprint and Kanban methodologies
  • Be a problem-solver for our customers – if you don’t know the answer, you find one via internal team networking


 To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field/business required, advanced degree preferred
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt or equivalent
  • Financial acumen
  • Analytical skills along with basic SQL and Tableau knowledge
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Lean/Six Sigma role preferably in Supply Chain Management working with Performance Management and managing KPIs and PIs
  • Experience in leading a development team as a project manager or change manager
  • Experience in applying detailed and rigorous analytical methods to improve processes, including the following methodology/tools: Six Sigma (DMAIC), Value Stream Mapping, Control Plans, Mistake Proofing, Root Cause and Corrective Action, Kaizen, and 5S
  • Supply Chain & Supply Process Knowledge is a plus
  • Must have managerial skills, lead teams, and be an excellent communicator
  • Able to build a sense of trust and rapport which creates a comfortable and effective workplace
