About this opportunity

The Real Estate Portfolio Manager is responsible for portfolio planning within the Market Areas, including lease events, new location requirements and CAPEX investments. We are looking for a Real Estate Professional to join the Ericsson Real Estate team as Portfolio Manager with responsibility for a dynamic and complex portfolio of North America (MANA) Commercial leases and projects. The role is responsible for the real estate portfolio, transactions, and coordination of project management fit-out in MANA, and you will have a great opportunity to contribute to Ericsson's success by applying your expertise and experience across MANA. This consists over 56 locations including R&D, production, sales, and project office properties with an annual lease value of over 60M USO. As we continue to optimize our portfolio and drive a human centric RE function, you will coordinate all real estate related activities for the company, including search for new properties, negotiation of lease agreements, and ongoing lease provision compliance and resolution of landlord related lease issues. You will also have cost center and budget responsibility for PPM in the Geography.

What you will do

  • Drive MANA real estate portfolio strategy
  • Lead implementation of program
  • Be the real estate subject matter expert (SME), including transactions
  • Lead major projects
  • Partner with the corporate project sponsors
  • Execute on efficiency & sustainability metrics

 

You will bring

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of relevant real estate experience (portfolio management, transaction management and project management)
  • Domain experience: Real Estate, Transactions, Construction, Real Estate Facility Management (REFM) as corporate, commercial or consultant
  • Experience in Real Estate Transactions, Construction or equivalent
  • Real Estate Process, Models & Strategies
  • Change & Improvement Management Skills
  • Negotiation and Argumentation Skills
  • Program and Project Management Skills
  • Delivering results and managing customer expectations
