About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead the warehouse team which is supporting test and repair demand. Crucial aspects of the role are managing day-to-day warehouse operations to support tests and repair, the movement of materials, and the shipment of products. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a demonstrated track record of leading teams, directing workflow, improving processes, and preventing internal and external supply chain disruption. This individual must have experience working with teams and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration. As a warehouse manager, you are responsible for the following areas: receiving, internal logistic flow, shipping, interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance; addressing employee complaints, and solving problems.


What you will do

  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple department initiatives simultaneously and assist management with decision making

  • Hands-on evaluation of all warehouse operations for material supply, developing improvements to processes and participating in their implementation, and reviewing the achievement of objectives

  • Organizing and monitoring operational, arranging internal audits and inventory measures

  • Monitoring material flow and initiating necessary organizational measures to improve and optimize material supply

  • Technical and disciplinary personnel responsibility as well as employee motivation and personnel development in compliance with company guidelines and standards of conduct as well as organizing and conducting annual employee training sessions

  • Preparation of staff schedules as well as assignment of activities in the warehouse

  • Recording and monitoring of all relevant data of the inventory and maintenance cycles

  • Analyze data and initiate replacement actions as necessary

  • Carrying out workplace assessments in the Warehouse area with regard to occupational health and safety

  • Collaborating with other departments of the company and optimizing the flow of information at the interfaces


You will bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • High proficiency with Microsoft office

  • SAP (or other ERP system) knowledge

  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and time management skills

  • Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced E2E understanding of supply chain management or logistics

  • 2+ years of experience in a leading position

  • Positive conflict and change management skills
