Dimensioning Manager

We are now looking for a Dimensioning Manager to create and ensure Customer value and satisfaction through an efficient Supply Chain. This is done by developing the Supply Strategy and bringing the Supply Strategy into execution with operational efficiency. You will be responsible for suggesting and implementing required buffer levels in our Supply Chain, from supplier to warehouse, ensuring that customer lead time is always met. You will also handle and calculate capability at our supplier and be involved when products are being phased in or phased out. An innovative mindset is crucial to simplify work using the latest technology as well as meeting future competence requirements within Supply Chain Management.

 

Our Exciting Opportunity:

  • Suggest and implement decided buffer levels
  • Monitor and act upon deviations
  • Proactively steer buffer levels according to phase-in and phase-out decisions, creating planning strategies
  • Calculate supplier capability and suggest activities to secure customer demands
  • Set way of working and secure quality in our internal processes
  • Track demand by customer account, measure forecast accuracy and bias with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Provide feedback to Product Lifecycle Managers

 

 In this role you will:

  • Work with continuous improvements to optimize ways of working
  • Apply the supply strategy
  • Apply the supply processes
  • Inventory Management
  • Main contact between Hub, Global Site Material teams, and Supply internal stakeholders

 

To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Preferably a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Supply Chain
  • Supply Chain & Supply Process Knowledge
  • Demonstrated leadership behavior
  • Interest and desire to lead people
  • Good understanding of dependencies and consequences related to costs, inventory, scrap, and similar
  • Background in Supply Management is preferable
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
