Cloud/VDI System Administrator

This role will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of the Ericsson Wireless Office solution. A successful candidate for this position will demonstrate proficiency with the design, implementation, and support of Azure cloud solutions and exhibit strong project management and communication skills.

What you will do

• Demonstrate deep overall knowledge of Azure Cloud and Azure Virtual Desktop technologies and possess a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, full lifecycle cloud implementations
• 3+ years of senior-level support with cloud infrastructure as part of responsibilities
• 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and support of highly distributed applications (i.e., having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience in migrating on-premises workloads to the cloud
• 5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects (where necessary, managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solutions/projects
• Should have experience in Functional Architecture Design.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – your reputation precedes you
• Flexibility & demonstrated abilities to work in a complex multi-cultural and multi-national environment
• Passionate customer advocacy – The need for exceptional customer experience
• Strong understanding of the Cloud ecosystem and Microsoft Azure in particular, including the market and landscape

• Cloud Strategy, Architecture, and Migrations
• Azure-native Resilience (e.g., VM Availability Sets / Zones, Paired Regions, Storage Geo-Replication)
• Cloud Disaster Recovery methods and Tools
• Azure Subscriptions, Management Groups, and Policy-as-code
• Azure Security and Identity services (e.g., Security Center, Azure Active Directory, RBAC, NSGs / ASGs)
• Azure Networking services (e.g., VNETs, Load Balancers, Front Door, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Content Delivery Network)
• Cloud Automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell, ARM, Azure Automation)
• Azure Compute, Database, and Storage technologies (e.g., VMs, Web Apps, AKS, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB)
• Azure PaaS services (e.g., Data Factory, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Azure Functions)
• Cloud Infrastructure logging and monitoring (cloud-native or 3rd-party vendor solutions)
