Solutions Designer, DevOps Lead

Ericsson Group Data and Analytics is looking for a Solutions Designer - DevOps Lead who will be liable to automate all the manual tasks for developing and deploying code and data to implement continuous deployment and continuous integration frameworks. Works with and alongside the Digital team and the business users to determine, build, implement, and manage an enterprise-wide data architect solution. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the entire DevOps lifecycle and implement the process to streamline DevOps lifecycle
  • Automate all the manual tasks for developing and deploying code and data to implement continuous development and integration frameworks
  • Maintain high availability of production and non-production data platform and environments
  • Create software deployment strategies that are essential for successful deployment of software in work environment
  • Identifies issues in the production phase and system and implements monitoring solutions to overcome those issues
  • Design, build and optimize automation systems that help to execute business web and data platforms
  • Lead the development along with defining the details of workstream, managing the developers and prioritization in collaboration with the product manager
  • Interact with business and capable of understanding how data needs to be structured for consumption
  • Collect, blend, and transform data using ETL tools, database management system tools, and code development (e.g., C#, SQL, Spark, Python)
  • Evaluates alternatives for integrating legacy data sources with enterprise relational models
  • Work closely with application development team on integration requirement between application and data layer
  • Implements and guides team on implementation of governance, stewardship, and frameworks requirements
  • Establishes the best practice of DevOps activities, data governance, data quality and Master Data Management for the project
  • Provide coaching and guidance to developers on technology, automation, architecture and process

 

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciple; Master’s degree preferred  
  • 10 years of DevOps activities, data management systems, data quality, data modeling, system automation and deployments experience
  • Must have 5 years of hands-on experience in C# and .net
  • 5 years of experience in software development process, and tools and languages like SaaS, Python, Java, MongoDB, Shell scripting, SQL and Git
  • Demonstrated experience translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive software solutions
  • Must have IT governance frameworks, concepts, methodologies and modeling techniques experience
  • Passion for innovation and “can do” attitude
