About this opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, results-oriented Cloud Platform Architect to join our Data & Analytics Architecture team who can identify business critical data needs and assume high overall accountability for the delivery of strategic data products, intelligent analytic solutions, or platform services.
Data & Analytics purpose is to provide data & intelligent analytic capabilities that support Ericsson’s digital transformation ambition to become a truly ‘data-driven’ company.
As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will identify business data needs and supervise the implementation, delivery, and support of data products/solutions for your respective portfolio/product area(s).
The selected candidate will have deep knowledge of Data Warehousing, data architectures and cloud technologies and be responsible to engage business stakeholders and lead technical teams throughout the data product/services lifecycle.
What you will do
Define portfolio strategy, roadmap in accordance with business data strategy.
Chair and drive core teams working on respective data products and/or solutions.
Manage portfolio competence and safeguard product execution plans.
Prepare portfolio product decisions with business value proposition.
Have a value-oriented approach and optimize portfolio/product TCO.
Support the development of domain target architecture and identify technology trends that have potential impact
Ensure consistency to IT architecture and security compliance.
You will bring
Strong prior experience in Data Warehousing and BI, irrespective of technology!
- Validated knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts and approaches.
- Knowledge of database design principles and data administration standards,
- Knowledge of multiple database platforms and design and support tools, including hands-on experience with at least one database platform
- Master data management technologies, mapping requirements into technical descriptions, being responsible for the development and delivery of functions & solutions for data services
- High communication skills are required for effective collaboration as well as to be able to present to executive levels for value propositions and business/product decisions!
- Ability to thrive working in multi-functional teams
- Good communication skills and superb verbal communications skills.
- Great track record of working with product and engineering team and business stakeholders
- Understanding of IT processes, tools, and infrastructure knowledge
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering.
- Hands-on industry experience: 7+ years, experience as an Analytics or Solution Architect, (or similar senior technology specialist title)
