Our Exciting Opportunity:

Cloud technology offers new innovative alternatives for Radio Access Network (RAN) deployments. In Cloud RAN, we own the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native RAN, an innovative product offering flexibility in architecting, scaling, and deploying telecom networks. The Cloud RAN product development organization contains total life-cycle capability from architecture definition to deployment in customer networks and capability to contribute to open-source communities.

 

At the same time, we are growing our Paris R&D and Innovation hub, focusing on the newest technologies for AI automation, Security, 5G and 6G. In the Paris hub, we work with a wide function focus, from research, architecture, and system management to product development.

 

We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer, with experience on Cloud Native development, to join our Network Automation engineering team in the Paris R&D and Innovation hub and get full ownership of a key aspect of our product.

 

Your role will include all development activities (from requirement analysis and system design to product lifecycle management support, testing and verification), and you will also get to work with and learn about the latest new technologies from 5G and Public & Private Clouds to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence!

You will:

  • Drive strategic technical leadership.
  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.
  • Develop and test high quality products
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Focus on product quality and user experience
  • Work with architects on the development and evolution of technical solutions

 

To be successful in this role you must have

  • Proficiency in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, C++, GO, JavaScript
  • Experience in cloud technologies and tools, container/microservices, databases, and security
  • Experience or Genuine Interest in Machine Learning models and frameworks is a plus.
  • Knowledge and evidence of practical application of the best coding/design practices and patterns
  • Engineering and technical leadership capabilities to help your team both deliver on short-term commitments and to evolve our solutions into the future
  • Desire to work in a diverse team-based organization
  • Show passion and love to continue developing your knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
