 Our Exciting Opportunity

We are looking for a Developer to drive the global Radio Realization according to the Long-term product plan. Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We coordinate in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

 You will:

  • Drive the Radio Realization in alignment with Global Radio with team members from all development sites. Be accountable for the Proof of Products (PoP) testbed development where new technology or product concepts are proven on product level
  • Create long term technology plan for radio realizations and efficiently communicate these plans to all different parties. The responsibility covers the overall Radio Realization solution including both SW, FPGA and HW, but it does not cover the evolution of each separate module
  • Drive radio realization product proposals for near future and prioritizes new technology, while balancing design resource optimization, new technology performance, product cost with customer value, size/weight and HW-SW reuse.
  • Identify the latest technology development in the different radio technology domains and the value it adds to the product level, then identify technology gaps in the different radio technology domains. The gaps should be aligned with and included in valid technology plans, that are the responsibility of experts/specialist that works in close cooperation with Realization.
  • Support product development in early phases, such as providing review input to Define Modular System (DMS1, DMS2) decisions. Support organizations connected to the Radio Realization, such as site system, strategic product management (SPM) and technical sales with technical guidance.
  • Rationalize and translate customer requirements for the Realization and modularity evolution and identify advantages in the competitor’s product solutions and give guidance to the radio technology domains.
  • Scout within academia/industry research and trends for opportunities, to bring them into technology planning. Drive cooperation between research and product development, and drive competence build up by mentorship to grow competence.

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science
  • Min years of experience: 15
  • Domain experience: Radio, RF, Product Development
  • Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
  • Business understanding
  • Working with people and networking
  • Innovating, adapting, and responding to change
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Planning and Organizing
