Cloud-Native 5G at PDU Cloud RAN

The organization within Business Unit Networks seeks to work closely with our customers, passionate about the delivery of virtualized RAN solutions.

We try to accelerate product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge established flow with new methodologies and are active in the open-source communities

 

Overview:

  • Full-stack Virtualization of the 5G NR CU and DU
  • CRAN & DRAN configurations
  • COTS HW including L1 accelerators where needed
  • Cloud-Native infrastructure based on ADP framework for SW based on micro-services and containers
  • Open interfaces (e.g F1, X2/Xn, A1, 01, LLS…)
  • Architecture for automation, AI and machine learning
  • Band & Radio support

 

Our Great Opportunity!

As a developer on our 5G Virtualized Digital Unit Integration and Test Automation team, you'll be a key contributor to the Advanced Antenna System (AAS) 5G functions that integrate next generation Cloud Native technology.

 

You will

  • Be actively engaged in the implementation of 5G vDU test automation functions, for both proprietary and open interfaces part of our Cloud Native RAN
  • Contribute designs and software to a highly available, high performance, Kubernetes based product
  • Strive for delivery of product and test code that improves the advantages of a DevOps infrastructure
  • Foster a systematization and implementation that enable rapid feature parity in a Stand Alone and Hybrid 5G network environment

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s or master’s level degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Good knowledge of Wireless communication Systems, lab troubleshooting and test automation technique/tools
  • Experience with multiple programming languages
  • Good understanding of the Linux ecosystem
  • Knowledge of Cloud-Native core principles, DevOps and Ecosystem a plus
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills and possess a can-do attitude
