Our Exciting Opportunity

As a SA Cloud & Applications Solution Architect, you are acting as the key interface between our C&A organization and its stakeholders when it comes to managing your part of the C&A architecture. The landscape is divided into three main areas IAAS/PAAS/SAAS. They are then divided into sub-areas to create manageable logical areas of responsibility. The architects set the high-level architecture for the entire service stack. The architect manages the architectural evolution of the portfolio and works closely with stakeholders and internal roles like Strategic Product Managers, Service Owners and Service Architects.

 

You will:

  • Drive Opportunity Analysis and Pre-studies to support Architecture and Portfolio evolution
  • Create and maintain high level architecture
  • Perform architectural reviews of different focus areas
  • Governance of high-level architectures and technical decisions in Architecture Boards
  • Support development and evolution of C&A Environment capabilities so that they adhere to the high-level architecture
  • Support governance of lower-level architectures, development, and evolution
  • Support C&A Environment in alignment of tools, services, and capabilities
  • Establishment and maintenance of architectural descriptions (artifacts) in different views such as technology, application, and information.

 

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • 5+ years of related architecture experience
  • Good understanding of R&D engineering environments and related R&D ways of working, tools, and concepts dealing with Cloud, Automation, Orchestration, and Data Centers as well as Information mgmt. and Security
  • Stakeholder leadership skills
  • Ability to transform strategy and needs into action
  • Ability to work on executive levels, providing high level business analysis of stakeholder needs,
  • Proven Consultative, team working and interpersonal skills with excellent relationship management capabilities
  • Knowledge on IT infrastructure, Network, Storage, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS service offerings,
  • Can do attitude
  • Self-going
  • Good communicator
  • Fluent in English. Written and oral
