Our Exciting Opportunity

We are currently seeking to fill a Senior Environmental Verification Engineer position within our Radio Integration, Verification & Certification organization. 


The Radio Integration, Verification & Certification organization supports radio product development for wireless base stations.  We are developing state of the art, multi-standard radio products used for LTE, W-CDMA (UMTS), GSM and 5G applications. Our wireless base station products are deployed by worldwide leading mobile operators. 


The purpose of this role is to ensure that radio product designs are meeting regulatory environmental requirements as well as the highest standards for reliability & robustness. This will help us ensure that radio performance is reliable and robust through the full extended lifetime of the product.



Contribute to the radio product quality through Environmental Testing in the following ways:

  • Plan, develop and execute internal and regulatory environmental testing
  • Formally document test plans and test results
  • Work in close collaboration with HW and SW Systems, Design and Verification colleagues to troubleshoot problems found during testing to achieve radio project milestones
  • Maintain positive professional relationships with our external lab partners to enable successful testing
  • Help to maintain and enhance the Hardware Verification Lab environment
  • Drive ideas for continuous improvement to process, test system and test methods


To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Education: BSc level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience performing environmental reliability and robustness testing
  • Good understanding of 3G, 4G and 5G wireless communications technologies
  • Self-driven and can drive others
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good documentation and report writing skills
