Antenna Technology Specialist

Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are now looking for a Technology specialist to ensure the development of creative and competitive technical solutions, products and/or components and to be involved in the research and development process to ensure the development of high quality, innovative solutions, products and/or components using the most appropriate technology available across that area.

To be successful in the role you must have:
- The position requires specific knowledge obtained from a Senior or Master position from other R&D positions within Ericsson, or equivalent external experience.
- Education: Minimum Master Thesis Electrical engineering
- Min years of experience: 7+
- Must have extensive domain experience: Antenna and Filter design also radio design.
- Customer Insight and Business Understanding
- Must have strong Project and Program Management Skill
- Coaching & Mentoring Skills
- Must have extensive antenna field experiences.
- Must have extensive experience understanding of industry and technology trends in phased array, antenna radiator, and other antenna elements such as phase shifter, RET etc
- Must have good industrial design experience with phased array antennas for FDD application
- Innovative, understand ways to improve technology and balance with cost
- Must be very experienced with PIM and design solutions Technical leader experience, working with team and project
Additional Requirements:
- The specialist has the responsibility to cover areas on all multi-antenna related baseband techniques.
- Actively participate in driving the strategy for the domain,
- Drive RRM and multi-antenna feature development and product evolution, and balance cost with technology leadership and real-world performance.
- Actively participate in the development of competitive and optimized multi-antenna algorithms to secure technology leadership,
- Provide means to assess performance of multi-antenna features and its relation to product alternatives.
- Ensure world leading AAS simulation capabilities, competence, tools, models, and methods.
- Contribute to IPRs and influence 3GPP.
- Drive field performance excellence for our RRM multi-antenna algorithms.
- Ensure observability of multi-antenna features. Knowledge spreading though coaching and mentoring, following, and reviewing studies and presenting findings internally,
- Promote and explain our products and solutions to customers and analyze market needs, technical trends, competitor’s solutions.
- Engage with Ericsson Research, Industry and Academia to keep up to date on latest technology trends related to multi-antenna related baseband techniques.
- Drive Antenna (LB/WB) prototype product realizations to efficiently communicate plans in an easy and understandable way to all different parties.
- Mentor and coach fellow employees to ensure a broad and deep knowledge base in the Antenna Architecture area
