Global Process Architect for Assembly Automation

Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are now looking for a Global Process Architect (GPA) for Production Automation domain to support our digitalization journey in NPI & Production organization. As GPA Automation, you will work in close collaboration with Automation engineers at Ericsson Supply Sites in order to translate their needs into process and IT requirements, and thereby ensure that future tools and system solutions support business best way possible. For example, you will be engaged in Automation projects worldwide, MES Compass project, and Digital Twin Production, preparing requirements and use cases for Automation & shop floor control implementation. You will be engaged from design definition to implementation phase.
This position will be geographically located in Tallinn (Estonia) or Nanjing (China) will report to the Head of Strategy, Process & Quality in NPI & Production organization.
As GPA Automation, following is expected from you:
- Perform business process as-is analysis. Translate business need into system and IT requirements and drive solution definition activity with other architects
- Engage in development and implementation of MES functionality and automation
- Support the development of system architecture and logic for MES & Automation with other domain experts
- Lead the community for identifying demands and synergies cross site for automation
- Responsible to define a roadmap and use cases together with automation subject matter experts
- Engage with external suppliers/vendors to understand new system opportunities or WoW
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- University degree Bachelor of Science (BSc) in a technical discipline (electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering etc)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Automation or/and MES development/deployment. Deep understanding how Automation, SCADA and MES comes together
- Experience from IoT and microservices is a bonus
- Understanding about system architecture and blueprints, able to discuss and shape to-be architecture
- Excellent communication skills, both towards engineers and higher management
- Fluent written and spoken English

- Experience from SW development and IT projects, and leading teams
