We are now looking  for 6-12 months Intern for our Procurement Organization. As a Junior Specialist you will assist the Strategic Sourcing (Procurement) managers in Russia.

The intern will receive training and support through knowledge of internal sourcing/procurement practices. The Sourcing intern responsibilities ideally suit someone who is looking to build a career in Sourcing or Procurement.

The intern shall support the sourcing managers throughout Ericsson Procurement Process that also includes in mid-term to assist on cost effective Ericsson-wide category strategies that are based on cross-functional requirements & business needs.

 

In this role you will:

  • Support to discuss, manage, coordinate, and drive one-off tactical sourcing activities for Sourcing unit as assigned, including preparing requests, managing the process, assessing supplier’s compliance, analyzing competitive bids with benchmarking practices, awarding suppliers and managing database. The role is also responsible for the Preferred Supplier List & internal compliance to it.
  • Analyze spend data, internal requirements, and conduct category market research to provide input for sourcing plans aligned with the business partners
  • Work closely with Strategic Sourcing Managers and Legal to redline and negotiate assigned confidentiality agreements, commercial contracts including service agreements, statements of work and amendments as assigned
  • Keep contract management platform up to date working together with Sourcing Managers
  • Guide partners and drive assigned projects with the goal of sourcing with the best total cost of ownership.

 

To be successful in the role you should have:

  • Student of last year status; ability to work 40 hours per week, or
  • Freshly graduated with academic degree in chain supply/ procurement/ management/ economics/ finance/business administration etc.
  • less than 3 years of professional experience
  • Russian and English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Being team oriented
  • Eager to learn, positive attitude, highly motivated
  • Experience with SAP will be an advantage
