RAN Security Automation Architect

About this opportunity
We are building a new 5G R&D team in Massy, France, which will among other areas focus on Mobile Radio Access and Core Product Security. This new Security R&D team will work closely with the Security Development Units, which is operational responsible for Product Security of the Ericsson RAN Product portfolio. If you are an experienced RAN/Core developer with high interest in security background and would like to be a part of ensuring that Ericsson have the outstanding security solutions and hereby crafting customer trust and future business growth, then this is the job for you!
We are looking for Security engineers with experience and interest in Automation activities. The role will lead the early phase study, framework, and architecture to work on creating Radio Automation Applications, so called Radio Apps for Security use cases. You have a background in Cloud or in Cloud native technologies with a strong curiosity about Security or a background in Security with a strong interest in Cloud technologies. Telecom is the focus but experience from Bank, ICT, Military or Automotive Security is also of high interest.

What you will do
- Participate and drive Security Automation use cases, to be implemented in Ericsson Orchestration and RAN Automation platform
- Define technical roadmap, develop specifics algorithms and work on early phase systemization activities
- Secure proper input and requirements towards our Product Development teams (XFTs)
- Support Security standardization for Network/Radio App automation solutions
- Work on Standardization contributions together with study drives within programs and aligned with Statement of Direction (SoD) for standardization areas and with Product Development for related product area.
- Perform demos and showcase Ericsson security features for Customers and Regulators.
You will bring
- MSc level in a technical field or equivalent
- Good knowledge in ICT security area preferably with Security certification such as CISSP, CCSP and/or CISM
- Experience in Cloud and/or in Cloud native technologies (k8s for example)
- Strong technical understanding and experience in working with RAN and/or Core mobile technologies.
- Strategic and operational understanding, with good customer understanding and ability to drive technical investigations within a team and alone, with respect for deadlines
- Well-developed communication skills
- Personal values in line with Ericsson core values
- Large degree of flexibility and willingness to seek different tasks
- Strong result oriented and finds it stimulating to work with change in an international team setup
- Good English language skills in both writing and conversation
Additional Requirements
- Having a strong contact network within the technical R&D and standardization community is a plus
- French language skills are a plus
