We are now looking for a Release Manager to secure Ericsson execution success in the area of Cognitive Network Solutions. World class software using innovative technologies, such as Machine Learning, is a key enabler for efficient and high-quality services and software applications that help automate our customers network and design processes and provide a much better user experience.

The role requires individuals to demonstrate team leadership as well as excellent communication skills. We expect you to drive continuous evaluation and improvement of our processes and ways of working and act with flexibility to find solutions better than yesterday. Within the role as Release Manager, you will be working with different stakeholders such as Strategic Product Managers, Program Managers or Team Leads, among others.)

What you will do

  • Be responsible to secure that product is commercially released according to commercial release directives, as well as following correct processes and WoW.
  • Manage generic requirements
  • Manage Exemption Requests and chair Exemption Request Board.
  • Responsible for leading the Operational activities towards the PDU related to Release management of the product.
  • Responsible for Product, Hardware & 3pp life-cycle management.
  • Responsible for alignment with Services, Customer Support, Learning Services for competence build.
  • Support Market Areas Business Readiness.
  • Secure management and communication of marketing material.
  • Engage in key customer opportunities in cooperation with Strategic Product Manager, Sales Support and the Account Teams.
  • Be part of defining commercial packaging & pricing.
  • Drive continuous improvements.

You will bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience coming from R&D, commercial or product management
  • Domain experience: OSS; IT, Cloud, Telecom, Product Management
  • Good understanding of technology and how to monetize it
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and ability to build networks
  • Ability to understand customers' needs and successfully meet their expectations
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Capability to influence internal and external partners and drive objective decision making
