Are you holding the key to success?

In the Reverse Engineering team within Ericsson’s IPR & Licensing organization, we are committed to supporting the creation and commercialization of the industry’s strongest and most valuable patent portfolio. We have our own dedicated hardware and software labs where technical analyses of mobile devices, including 5G devices, are performed with the aim of detecting patent infringements.

For mobile devices and embedded systems in general, software plays a key role. The user experience features are implemented in software stacks and applications. Hardware for radio frequency circuits, power management, amplifiers, sensors and so on are all controlled by software. Hardware in the embedded products can to a large extent be analyzed via software. Therefore, software reverse engineering plays a key role in analyzing infringement on Ericsson IPR.
