About this opportunity

 

We are now looking for a Customer Network Support Solution Architect that will deliver support services to our clients. You will be part of a Solution team and together you will identify business leads and promote Ericsson products and services to secure add-on sales. This will require detailed customer network knowledge and knowledge of customer strategies.

As a Solution Architect in the CS domain at Ericsson, you will enable efficient service delivery of contracted customer support services by driving the Customer Support Request within our support organization. You will also take an active part in the Emergency Handling support.

 

What you will do

 

  • E2E Field responsibility and Solution ownership
  • Customer support request handling (CSR) follow-up and take a role in complex troubleshooting
  • Analyze problems and identify suitable solutions to these problems
  • Working on complex troubleshooting, using support tools and according to global support processes and procedures.
  • In the line of supporting our products, identify possible improvements to the products that will make them more maintainable and user-friendly. Document these possible improvements in Requirement Specifications as guidance to the design of new generations of the products.
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Customer
  • Actively engage in communication with other engineers for the purpose of knowledge sharing etc
  • Notification of process problems and irregularities to the responsible management. These problems/irregularities may be within the own organization or within any of the organizations within Ericsson handling customer support requests.
  • Registration of new known solutions and updating of existing known solutions based on the answers/solutions developed within own Line-organization or received from elsewhere.
  • Produce technical aids, and guides as service documentation. Generate maintenance bulletins and hazard warnings.
  • Maintain system configuration records for SW, Market Features, and Network Configurations for assigned customer
  • Giving guidance in developing Operation & Maintenance instructions
  • Implementation of proactive maintenance procedures
  • Understand and work with Solution Management processes.

 

You will bring

 

  • BS or MS in telecommunication or IT.
  • Min 10 -12 years of field experience.
  • Previous work experience in support or integration (Packet Core Systems).
  • Excellent solving, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of call flow scenarios (session & mobility management)
  • Excellent knowledge of packet core systems and architecture (EPC) including Good Knowledge of PC surrounding nodes (CS and/or IMS and/or Radio)
  • Excellent knowledge of packet core Nodes (GGSN, SGSN-MME, PGW/SGW, SAPC/PCRF)
  • Excellent Knowledge of Virtual Systems and Cloud Infrastructure. Especially VMWare vSphere to be exact.
  • Good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX
  • Good knowledge of Juniper & Ericsson OS
  • Excellent IP knowledge (Proven External Certifications are a plus)
  • Experience in hardware and software installations and upgrades
  • Experience in working on FOA/POC

  • PROPS-C, or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
  • Ability to work under stressful situations, meet tight deadlines, and deliver services with high quality
  • Ability to lead and motivate others and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in order to be able to participate in and drive customer meetings.
  • Strong consulting skills.
  • Understanding Business Objects.
