Warehouse Lead - Outbound

As a part of establishing a Smart Factory within the U.S., we are now looking for a warehouse Outbound Lead to be the first line support for leading the warehouse team is supporting production demand. Crucial aspects of the role are managing day-to-day warehouse operations to support production, the movement of materials, and shipment of radios. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a demonstrated track record of leading teams, directing workflow, improving processes, and preventing disruption of the internal and external supply chain. This individual must have experience working with teams and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration.  Lead responsibilities include the following: receiving, Kanban delivery, shipping, interviewing, training, appraising performance; addressing employee complaints and solving problems.   

  

Primary responsibilities:  

  • Aid Outbound team as the first point of contact concerning general problems and daily execution. 

  • Under the direction of management implement coaching programs for outbound team. 

  • Work closely with supply chain management team to process orders and meet on time delivery of product to the customer. 

  • Lead outbound team in the execution and preparation finished goods & raw material picking, packing, and staging for outbound shipping. 

  • Utilize WCS & WMS to perform manual and automated material movement throughout warehouse & production environment. 

  • Lead team meetings and participate in daily operational meetings as needed for updates on production goals.  

  • Monitors and drives team performance and adherence to warehouse processes and procedures 

  • Experience using RF Scanners computers, tablets, smart phones for material handling & day to day warehouse operational activities. 

  • Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10-12 hours in addition to lifting or moving to 30 – 50 lbs. 

  • Aptitude to work in multiple software’s to govern the movement of AGV, AMR, & automated material handling equipment/systems.  

  • Adhere to all safety, quality, company rules / procedures, drive compliance and report all incidents of non-compliance immediately 

  • Other duties maybe assigned to support warehouse operations. 

  

  

Position Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED required 

  • Positive conflict and change management skills 

  • Be a self-starter, optimally work in a fast-paced and everchanging work environment 

  • 2+ years of experience in a shipping or outbound role  

  • Excellent communication: written and verbal and proactively escalates as needed 

  • Phenomenal attitude and work ethic with a high level of accountability and integrity 

  • Team-player, proactive, committed to providing high-quality work  

  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Power point, other MS Office suite applications 

  • Preferred Software Experience: V-Manage/ EWM / MODI Software/ SAP/WCS/ Apriso/CMMS
